My main memory of Harry was that he was the very first boy that asked me to go to a dance with him. It was our sophomore year and it was to one of those coronation type dances. He was the perfect gentleman and brought me a pretty corsage for my beautiful new light green brocade/satin dress. We were under 16 so no driver's license; but he was resourceful (and my parents allowed it! - surprise) and got a "senior" to let us ride with he and his date. A double "cool thing"! It was Skip Grewe. They were a nice couple and didn't make us feel like little kids either. One of my favorite comedians was Steve Allen and Harry always reminded me of him. Thanks for the nice memories, thank you too for your service to all of us and the United States with your military service.
Crazy about Harry!!! He was in Gary and my wedding along with Denny Knez & Terry Mercurio. (Lyn Venturella and Cathy Murphy along with family members).
He lived in the subdivison behind me and our back yards were within view. He was always so good!!! We lost touch with him after he went to Viet Nam.
I also remember his Mom. Harry got his sweetness from her. She was young, hip and
