Gaultney, dear daughter of Hazel and the late George Barth, dear daughter-in-law of Naomi, and the late Othar Gaultney, dear sister of Cindy (Al) Kern, dear aunt of Jonathan and Timothy Kern, our dear niece, great-niece, cousin, and friend.
Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Monday March 20, 12 noon. Donations to Missouri Youth Soccer Assn., 1811 Sherman Dr., St. Charles, MO 63033 appreciated. In parlor Saturday, 2-9 p.m. and Sunday, 1-9 p.m.

Very seldom do you have a chance to tell a dear lifelong friend (since 2nd grade) "so long for awhile" when God calls them home; but I did with Bev. We had such a great visit in her hospital room the night before she had her last surgery. She was in great spirits and still had that gorgeous smile. I took pictures with me of when she was little. We laughed, we hugged and we were just able to be together one last time, until we meet again. I got to the door of her hospital room to leave and she called out to me, I turned around and she smiled that great smile and told me good bye. I knew what she meant, because...she knew. What a blessing she was to me and we did keep in touch over the years too. She was a great mom to her step-son and then later to her own daughter and son. I just loved the Barth family. They were fun to be around and the way they cared for her little brother Georgie was amazing. Our families knew each other too - from high school days at Bayless, where else?!
